Freak Lunchbox was founded in 2001 in historic downtown Halifax. We have been embraced and loved by Halifax locals and visitors alike. Our following has been described as "cult-like." Freak Lunchbox has been featured in local and national media, and has garnered a celebrity clientele including such A-listers as Tom Selleck, Gabrielle Byrne, Candice Bergan, Julianne Moore, John Stamos and Sandra Oh.
Regular customer actor Rob Lowe was overheard in store yelling "This Store is The Bomb!!!!" Recently we had a visit from Willy Wonka himself, Gene Wilder!
